The recent bad weather being the cause of games being cancelled.
Lack of game time was showing as in the first ten minutes Garnock were winning the breakdowns with dominant rucks and mauls resulting in two tries scored past a sleeping Cumnock team.
A bit of motivation and encouragement was all it took to wake up Cumnock , the defence tightened and held back Garnock to win the ball back.A pick up by Tyler Wallace at the half way spotted a gap and broke through to score the first Cumnock try.
Play evened out between the teams in the first of three twenty minute plays.The second try came from Robert McColl in his second game for the team.
Garnock answered with another try keeping the pressure on but failing to make the conversions kept the points down.By the end of the first session it was four tries each with another try from McColl and a further try ran in by Kieran Vance.

Heads were up and a more determined team restarted.Skill and tactics started to come into play as attacking and defensive play was more organized.
Cumnock started to dominate as more tries came from Wallace, three from Logan Naismith and a try by Sean Houston.
Garnock could not break through the Cumnock line as everyone stepped up and played as a team.Tries were set up from the kick off as ground was made and offloads were executed with precision,ball presentation and tackling was of a high standard resulting in a worthy win for Cumnock.
All conversions were kicked through the posts by Wallace and John Watt.
