In the first half both teams fought hard for possession of the ball looking for a gap in defence.
Eventually a break from the by Scott Teece moved play into Uddingstons 22 which set up a pass for Gavin Gilliland to run in the first try. Play continued with the Cumnock backs shipping the ball across the pitch with centre Callum Bell constantly running the ball and feeding to both wingers. Newcomer Kieran showed off his pace as he took the ball up the wing drawing in defence creating a space for Joe to score wide of the posts.
At the re-start Uddingston took the ball into contact forming a driving maul and seeing a gap in defence ran the ball through to score. Their conversion went wide of the posts and brought a close to the first half.
The second half kicked off and Cumnock sharpened up their game. In no time Sean Houston got the ball and burst through the pack to run in a try. Nathan Steele made a dash for the line but was brought to ground setting up a ruck which resulted in winger John Watt dancing past five players to score in the corner. This was followed up by stand-off Tyler Wallace who broke loose from the half way line and ran a try in under the posts.
Lewis Andrews was next on the score sheet with the ball moving through the backs to let Lewis score the final try. Tyler only missed two from six conversions bringing the final score up to 22 - 3 to Cumnock.
