Cumnock Cougars S1 16 East Kilbride 31

 
This week the Cougars played host to East Kilbride and the score certainly doesn't reflect how well Cumnock played as a team.
The first half was certainly a close game with Cumnock boys putting everything they had into the rucks and showing that when they work as a team they can achieve what they produce at training. Their scrummaging was strong and throughout the whole game they held their own against their opponents and were never pushed off the ball. The first half finished Cumnock 12 East Kilbride 16.
The second half Cumnock played no different to the first except missed tackles which allowed East Kilbride to run right through the middle of the Cumnock pack and before long the score had run away from the Cougars with no way back.
On the score sheet this week was Calum Park with 2 tries and 3 conversions, Louis Andrews 1 try, a combined effort from Daryl McCulloch and Aiden Walker for the 4th try and Ronaldo Smith with 1 conversion.
