Dalziel s1 3 Cumnock s1 36

Cumnock had a good warm up already and started in a good mood. Cumnock had 21 players in squad and so with only 13 being able to be on the pitch meant giving some players some of the game, but all players still got game time on pitch.

In what was great conditions Cumnock's forwards including William, Aiden, Alastair, Thomas, Tam (captain) to name a few got the scrum moving well. The Cumnock team even faced players nearly 6 feet but Cumnock's tackling was able to keep Dalziel back. William even demonstrated great tackling when he made 2 big tackles almost in succession to be best moves in the game. Andrew, Angus were even stealing the ball from the opposition. This set Cumnock up well with a platform for our faster players.

Lewis Young scored 5 tries, Luke Donald scored 2 tries but Luke also made at least 1 try saving tackle to stop Dalziel scoring a try then. Jack Brown scored 2 tries including a 60 yard run. Jon Connor Graham scored a try as well. Cumnock finished the game with 36 and Dalziel having 3.

Cumnock's coaches were very pleased with the work EVERY player on the pitch demonstrated and hope it continues. Cumnock s1 are away in a cross-conference game at Falkirk next Sunday and training continues at Auchinleck Academy AstroTurf on Thursday nights 6.30-7.30pm.
