Some excellent play from the irish backs created a gap in the Cumnock line letting them run in their only try of the game.

Cumnock stepped up and centre John Watt put in another two tries. The first exploiting a gap in defence to score near the posts. The second came from a pass from Sean Houston who broke through the irish defenders and offloaded to john to score in the corner.
Two conversions from Tyler Wallace made the final score 17 - 4 to Cumnock.
both teams played well and put in strong performances but Cumnock's ability to hold their line won them the game.
