Great weather and an anticipated good game of rugby to be watched ? GHA set straight out the blocks utilising some pre practiced moves which with help from poor Cumnock tackling and organisation allowed the first score to go to the visitors .Cumnock dug deep and if not for last gasp tackling from their opponents could well have been in with a few scores.Unfortunately this seemed to set the pattern for day .GHA very well organised and slightly quicker of the mark and at the set piece ,running out eventual winners .Not for the lack of effort but just a better organised decent side it wasn’t to be Cumnock day .Some good positive play in attack but a poor defence and organisation let Cumnock down .Plenty to work on at training and a target for the return fixture later in the season for revenge !!
