The Mackay School is the oldest British origin school in South America and has at its heart some very strong ties with Scotland. The travelling group which numbers 80 will also be playing a football match at Townhead Park against a Cumnock Juniors Boys team whilst the match against Cumnock Rugby is taking place.

The school is undertaking a marathon European tour starting in Edinburgh yesterday then after Cumnock journeying south to York, Bath Oxford and London before jetting out to Italy taking in Venice, Florence, Pisa and finally Rome before traveling home on 1st October.

The club is very excited to be hosting a team from the Southern Hemisphere and we are looking for a very big turnout at the club on Thursday 14th September KO 1830
