Congratulations to Euan Bell (U18 Coach) and Harry Reilly (U16 Coach) who have both recently completed their yearlong Advanced Coaching Course run by Scottish Rugby.
The course involved working with their teams over a season with their Scottish Rugby Coach Mentors covering modules on Coaching Process, Team Preparation, Performance Analysis, and a Craft of Coaching Project.

This is tremendous news for the club as it now takes our group of Advanced Coaches to three as the guys join Stephen Raby who completed his qualification 6 years ago. This places the club in a great position as there are only about 150 or so coaches qualified at this level across the whole country and makes a clear statement that as a club, we are committed to driving excellence across our teams and coaches.

When asked for their thoughts Both Euan and Harry felt it the course challenged them and took the levels of detail in their preparation & Coaching Process to a new level. They unanimously encouraged all coaches, no matter what level, to sign up to the most appropriate course as this in turn will have a positive impact on all our young players across the club.
