The Cumnock kids always have a tough game against Hamilton and always proves to be a tough, aggressive match and this game was certainly no different. The Cumnock kids who are normally on the losing side of the games were all up for it and the defence was rock solid with some great tackling from all the kids and in particular Kian, Seth and Lewis. Blair Bell was proving to be a menace and defending well high up the pitch but it was the great runs from Cameron, Daniel and Glen which were cutting through the opposition with some great support from the likes of Ali who always gets into great positions. The tackling was good, rucking good and some great tries scored for a well earned victory which all the kids absolutely loved.

Cambuslang P7 – 4 Cumnock P7 – 4

Next up was the home side Cambuslang who had a few big units in their squad and again the Cumnock kids took the lead through some great support running with lovely offloads. The ruck was pretty solid, Sam doing a great job and a few turnover balls as well to add to the excitement. The defence was holding well but a few tired legs were leaving holes in the defence and Cambuslang got through for a few tries. It turned out to be another great days rugby and great to see the kids improving week on week and really becoming a tight squad and really good to watch. There are still a few things to brush up on in training but all in all a brilliant performance.
