Cumnock u15 travel to Dumfries

Cumnock went to sleep as dumfries quickly replied with a try off thier own.
A quick talking to by coach (mark van leest) soon livened the boys up as dylan chidwick made good yardage with some blistering runs down the wing.
Andy houston took control off the midfield and was distributing and kicking the ball inteligently.
Cumnock added another 4 trys before half time coming from wallace findlay, jock welch, Jamie drummond and the man off the match robbie drummond whose tackling was out of the top drawer.
Dumfries brought on several off thier u16 boys to bolster their pack in the second half.
It worked as the game became more off a centre field battle with tackles flyig in eveywhere.
The game ended in a 39 /10 victory for cumnock.
Coach mark van leest said he was happy enough with the boys but we need to work harder as a forward unit and tackle that wee bit better.
It was a good warm up for the cup game against uddingston next week.
Special mention for kieran owens whose tackling is improving every week.
