Former Cumnock 1st xv player Graham Montgomery presented Club Captain Jamie Thomson with an Inverell Highlanders shirt on his recent visit home to Scotland.

Graham, Scott Houston, Simon Clark and Graham Dick kindly donated to the top to the club having previously bid for it at a fund raising auction in Inverell.

Inverell play in Australia's Central Northern Zone, the town itself lies 5 hours south west of Brisbain on Australia's east coast.

Cumnock Rugby Club have a long history with Inverell with Simon playing for Cumnock in the past and Graham and Scott still based down under and playing. Graham Dick has recently returned back to Scotland after a couple of years travelling and playing.

Both clubs have a history of reciprocal arrangements and this year will see Inverell player Nick Cumming arrive to play at Cumnock.
