With only 6 games to go Cumnock 1st XV are still challenging the top of West 2, with Paisley still leading, Lenzie in second and Strathendrick in 4th. However, its not as clear cut as that and its more convoluted than an episode of the 70's comedy Soap (ask your parents!).
Cumnock will be looking to take their current form and the intensity of last weeks win against Millbrae into Saturdays game v Loch Lomond. It is literally tight at the top and we cant afford any slip ups. Kick off is 3.00 at Broomfield.
A great support last week enjoyed the thrilling home win and with the weather promising to be a bit warmer another large crowd is expected, so why not get down to Broomfield to cheer the boys on. The Club will be open as usual.
And if you cant make Broomfield why not drop in to Netherthird and take in Cumnock 2nd XV v Whitecraigs 2s. Again its a 3.00ko. There are a few points at stake in this one as its a double header, winner takes all. The 2's will be looking for home advantage to get back to winning ways, after another narrow defeat last week, despite playing some good rugby.
