Its also the first home games for the 1st and 2nd XVs, both of whom will be looking for an improvement on rusty showings in their respective defeats away to Grennock last week.

After a heavy going over in the first half last week, the 1st XV rallied in the second to outscore Greenock 17-12, scoring three good tries in the game. On the back of that second half showing they will be hoping to hit the ground running against Irvine.

The 2nd XV managed the opposite in their game by keeping things tight until conceding 4 late tries. They will be looking to keep the pressure on for the full 80 minutes this week.

The u18s are away to Cartha. After last weeks win away at Greenock they will be aiming for another on the road this weekend. Kick off is 2.00.
