This year, 2003, sees Cumnock Rugby Football
Club undertake a major extension to the existing
clubhouse at Broomfield, with the assistance
of generous grants from Spots Scotland, The
Mineral Trust and East Ayrshire Council.
 The
extension adds two more dressing rooms, new
showers, a weights room, a physio treatment
room as well as doubling the size of the function
hall.
It is hoped that this will greatly aid the development
of both senior and youth rugby at Cumnock RFC.
We also hope that the new facilities including
the well-equipped weights room will attract
new social members.
The contractors, a local company, James Wilson
& son (Auchmillan) Ltd, plan to begin work
in late September on what is estimated to be
a twenty-week project, with completion in early
2004.
